Annual general meeting
Article Written: 20th January 2012
We would like to inform all Quad Racing Scotland members that the Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 29th January 2012 at 1pm, Airth Castle, Airth, FK2 8JF
There have been lots of changes over the last season and lots more to come. You will hear from the Chairperson Ian Neill, the treasurer Yvonne Boyd and the current club secretary Margaret Graham who will give reports on the affairs of the club over the last year.
The club belongs to ALL members and the AGM is a great opportunity for members to be part of that. Each member is entitled to vote on club matters and it is you the members that vote committee members on to the committee so your votes really do count.
It is the current committee’s aim that Quad Racing Scotland goes from strength to strength in what can only be described as a difficult time, financially. We want to not only retain members but increase membership and attract new people to the sport. We want to invite new members and show them what a great bunch we are and how much fun on and off the track we have at race days and events. Quad Racing Scotland is more than just a club it is a family of like-minded people young and old participating in a sport they love.
It takes a lot effort and dedication to keep a club like QRS going but it is very worthwhile and there is a great sense of satisfaction when everybody leaves the track happy after a good days racing. We need enthusiastic people with new ideas to ensure that Quad Racing not only survives but continues to grow.
We have several vacant positions on our committee for the 2012 season and these are:-
- Vice Chairperson
- Club Secretary
- Child Protection Officer
- Chief Marshall
- General Committee Position
We would be obliged if you could confirm your attendance by completing the “AGM reply” form. If you would like to download and post this form back to us please click on the “Download AGM reply”.
